About Rachel

Rachel graduated from La Salle University in 2016 with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After receiving her bachelor’s, she worked in a behavioral health hospital as a Mental Health Technician where she provided support to children and adolescents with ASD and a variety of mental health diagnoses. From there she transitioned into a case management role, working as a Supports Coordinator to help secure both county related support services and funding for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and autism. These positions allowed Rachel to solidify her true passion for Occupational Therapy. Rachel graduated summa cum laude from the University of the Sciences with her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in January of 2022. She completed her first clinical rotation in an acute care hospital and gained experience working with adults with a variety of diagnoses such as heart failure, cerebral vertebral accidents, deconditioning, and traumatic brain injury. Her second clinical rotation specialized in adult hand therapy and outpatient pediatrics. This rotation solidified her love of working with children, promoting their independence, incorporating creative interventions, and brainstorming ways to help them succeed! Rachel is a licensed Occupational Therapist by the Pennsylvania Department of State and is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
