Sensory Zone Handwriting Classes

Sensory Zone offers individual and group services for the development of pre-writing and writing skills. Among other programs, we use the multi-sensory “Handwriting Without Tears” program for handwriting instruction.

Writing is an extremely complex task, incorporating components of organization, visual motor and perception, coordination, strength, endurance, and speed. For many children, integrating these numerous components represents a challenge. Children who have struggles with handwriting often perform worse in school, exhibit decreased self-confidence, and encounter frustration with writing tasks.

Sensory Zone offers individual and group handwriting classes for children of all abilities that are presented in a fun, interactive way. All of our handwriting classes are taught by experienced occupational therapists who utilize fun and unique approaches to help your child make improvements in their handwriting skills.
